Meet Tim Scott

For nearly 30 years, Tim Scott has stood beside people at some of the hardest moments of their lives: after a serious injury, the loss of a loved one, or harm to an elderly parent. He has handled a wide range of serious personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, premises liability, product liability, and elder abuse, throughout northern Illinois. Tim believes every client deserves to be heard, to be treated with patience and respect, and to understand exactly where their case stands, because people who understand the legal process can make real decisions about their own lives.

Before co-founding FeganScott, Tim spent a decade as a partner in a boutique law firm, where he managed the litigation department and represented both individuals and businesses. Having represented plaintiffs and defendants alike, he understands how each side sees a case, and he brings that fairness and candor to every client relationship. His practice has also included breach of contract, deceptive business practices, and consumer protection matters.

In 2004, Tim helped establish the Chicago office of Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro, expanding the firm’s presence in the Midwest. There he served as lead or co-lead counsel in class actions on behalf of consumers and others harmed by antitrust violations, improper insurance practices, and consumer fraud.

From 1999 to 2003, Tim was an associate in the complex mass torts and insurance litigation department in the Chicago office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. There, he represented corporate clients in class action, mass tort, products liability, insurance, and commercial litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country, as well as in international arbitration. That experience on the defense side gives him a balanced understanding of how serious injury cases are evaluated by both sides.

Tim has represented numerous individuals in discrimination and employment matters, including claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX, and the Illinois Gender Violence Act. Many came to him after experiencing harassment, discrimination, or gender-based violence in workplaces and schools where they felt they had no voice, and he makes sure those clients are heard and treated with dignity.

He has also represented clients in domestic relations and foreclosure matters, guiding individuals and families through an unfamiliar legal system during some of the most difficult times of their lives, when their children, homes, and financial security are at stake.

Tim has served for three years on the executive board of the Kendall County Bar Association, as a board member, secretary, and vice-president, and will become its president in December 2026. He frequently coordinates bar association service outings to Feed My Starving Children, where Kendall County lawyers and their families pack meals for hungry children and families around the world, an expression of his belief that the legal community should serve those in need well beyond the courthouse.

Tim’s work has been recognized by his peers. He has been named to The Best Lawyers in America every year since 2021 and has been recognized each year since 2022 as one of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers. Outside the office, he has completed more than 25 marathons.

Before law school, Tim worked as an insurance claims adjuster, investigating facts and evaluating liability and damages. That first-hand view of how claims are decided allows him to explain the process to clients clearly and honestly, so families are never left guessing.

Tim holds a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the Illinois Institute of Technology – Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he served as a judicial extern for Judge Manning in the Northern District of Illinois, and an undergraduate degree from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Born and raised in DeKalb, he has called Kendall County home since 2017, where he is active in local youth sports and his children attend the local public schools.

Elizabeth Schoolfield

Elizabeth Schoolfield is a dedicated paralegal at FeganScott Injury Law, specializing in electronic filing, client communication, maintaining case files, and trial preparation. She excels in reviewing medical records and ensuring meticulous case organization to address every detail. Elizabeth is committed to achieving fair compensation for all clients.

With prior experience in supporting personal injury firms and familiarity with municipal law, residential, and commercial real estate, Elizabeth brings valuable expertise to her role.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English studies from North Central College and has deep roots in Kendall County, having grown up in Oswego and residing there with her family outside of work.

Tory Kenney

Tory Kenney has been a key member of FeganScott Injury Law since joining in 2019 as a legal assistant. In her current role as Firm Administrative Manager, she oversees administrative functions, including office procedures, staff supervision, project coordination, accounting support, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Before joining FeganScott, Tory spent four years as a Realtor at Kettley and Company in Yorkville, IL, and eight years as an accounts receivable clerk. Her background in real estate has equipped her with strong client service skills and organizational expertise.

Tory holds an associate degree from Waubonsee Community College in Illinois and has been a resident of Yorkville since 2007. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, paddleboarding, and spending time with her family. She takes pride in being a mom to two daughters and a golden doodle named Millie May, who often joins her at the FeganScott Injury Law office.

Naomi Wolf

Naomi Wolf joined FeganScott Injury Law in 2023 as a legal assistant, where she oversees the firm’s intake process, often serving as the initial point of contact for clients. She also supports case management activities, contributing her meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to the firm’s efforts in advocating for accident victims.

Naomi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from North Central College. A long-time Illinois resident, she resides in Yorkville with her family, actively participating in the local community. Outside of work, Naomi enjoys attending her children’s sporting events and spending time outdoors with her three dogs.
