Motorcyclist Hit at Red Light
On a sunny summer day in 2009, Jim Hettinger was out for a ride on his motorcycle when he was hit by an uninsured driver at a red light – totaling his bike and leaving him with a broken knee. While the accident was painful and disruptive, it had never crossed Hettinger’s mind to seek legal action. Not until it came up in a conversation with longtime friend Tim Scott, that is.
After sharing more about the accident, Tim presented Hettinger with his legal options. As soon as Tim started working on the case, he began negotiating with the insurance companies to ensure Hettinger received the best result possible.
Just a few months later, Tim reached a settlement with the insurance company that Hettinger describes as “quick and efficient.”
